Сolleagues, friends, and students of Sergei Pankovski, first chairman of the board of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, gathered on the 1 December 2009 to remember his life and discuss the ways to continue his work. The roundtable discussion ‘Intellectual environment in Belarus: Ideas and People’ was co-sponsored by the projects Dr. Pankovski helped to found: East European School of Political Studies, the BISS, and ‘Nashe Mneniye’ expert platform.
